Sweet tooth

“Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, making people happy and healthy.” Proverbs 16:24

Everyone loves sweets, it’s a fact. Whether you’re a Haribo, skittles or even a chocolate fan, we love nothing better than munching on a packet of our favorite sweets.

We can all remember the sweet taste they leave for quite a while afterwards, making us want more. Well the Bible is saying that it’s like that with our words; when we make a decision to speak well of others, encouraging them, picking up on the things we like about them (instead of speaking nasty and negative words) we leave a sweet taste, like the sweetness of honey in someone’s mouth.

Cube Challenge: Have a think how you can speak some ‘pleasant’ words of encouragement to somebody today.
