“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13 (NIV)

Often in life there are things we have to do, we know they are important, but sometimes if we are honest, we really can’t be bothered to do them. You might have to clean your room, do your home work, go to school, etc.

It seems like when these tasks come along, there are so many better things we could be doing that we want to do instead. Because of this we end up doing these tasks because we have to, but if were honest, we do them half-heartedly.

The Bible here is saying this same thing about our journey with God. If we are going to be people who ‘Find, Live and Shout’ God in our generation, we can’t be half-hearted in how we walk with God. We need to seek after God our whole heart, and the Bible says we will ‘Find’ Him.

Cube Challenge: Take some time out today, find a quiet space, get alone with God. Ask His forgiveness for times when you’ve been half-hearted towards Him, and ask Him to really help you to be a person who has a heart totally sold-out, on fire and given over to Him.
