“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” – Romans 10:9 (NIV)
“Jesus is Lord” .
If you are a Christian this is something you’ve probably said yourself or if not, at least it’s something you believe. It’s dead easy to say “Jesus is Lord” and speak all the relevant words at Cube or in Church, but it’s often much harder to live it out at school, college or at work.
The statement “Jesus is Lord” shouldn’t just be something we say now and then or a bit of Bible-speak that we use, but this should affect how we live every day. What does it look like to make Jesus the Lord of your life?
It means Jesus takes the wheel, He’s in the driver seat, and you’re the passenger.
He’s the boss, He’s in charge, He’s your Lord.
CUBE CHALLENGE: Take 5 minutes today and have a quick think some of the areas in your life that you know you don’t let God in very often, areas where you do your own thing, instead of doing it God’s way – ask God’s forgiveness for these things and allow Him to be Lord (in charge) of these areas in your life.
