Hope Forever

“In my father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.” John 14:2 (NKJV)

Sometimes in the Christian life we go through tough stuff. We face things and situations that we never thought we’d face in living lives on fire for Jesus – family troubles, our mates rejecting us because of our faith, no money, or attacks of the enemy in our lives.

It’s in these tough times that we have to hang onto the amazing hope that living forever in heaven with Jesus gives us. The Bible here is saying that in the ‘Father’s House’ (Heaven) there are many mansions.  This verse suggests if we go all out, heart ablaze for Jesus in this life, we get much in return in the next one. A mansion sounds a pretty nice reward don’t you think?

Cube Challenge: If you’re going through some tough stuff right now or know anyone that is, take 5 minutes to pray that God will fill your (or their) heart with the hope of eternal life with Him.
