Put your confidence in God

“Trust in Him at all times, you people;
Pour out your heart before Him;
God is a refuge for us.” (Psalm 62:8)

Have you ever found yourself in a situation where, you feel weak with no confidence in yourself?

Maybe it’s that exam you are about to sit. A conversation you know you need to have, but you don’t want to and it’s making your nervous. Is it that job application you feel you’re not good enough to apply for? Or maybe it’s a situation you just don’t know how to handle.

Well the Bible teaches us, that in these situations, we must turn to put our confidence in God, trust in him that he will get you through whatever circumstance you need to get through. King David in the Bible, shows us how diligently he puts his confidence in God. In almost every situation, he clings to God instead of trusting in his own ability, and this is true wisdom – to depend on God.

And yes, it may seem hard at times, when all the waves life come crashing, but God is calling you to trust in him, and he will help you to surf the waves!

Besides is there anyone or anything better than putting your confidence in the Almighty God. He is the one who loves you, and created you, and has a massive plan for your life. How much more do you think God desires for you not to worry, and to cast all your cares onto him. Put your confidence in God, and he will never let you down, he will never leave you or forsake you!

Cube Challenge: Read through Psalm 62 and, let it speak to your heart, maybe there are areas where you are relying on your own ability instead of God.
