Insignificant

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.” – Romans 8:18

Here is a question for you guys.

Why do Christians suffer?

Why do people who are children of God still feel pain and suffering? Why do Christian people sometimes experience the worst the world can throw at us? If we are Christians why do we need to still suffer? I mean it’s not fair that people who follow God’s word should have to get battered and bruised for following God.

I mean, when we look in the Bible wasn’t it the prophets that everybody loved?  Well think about my last sentence.  Just reread it… is that actually true? Were God’s prophets really loved by most people? The truth is that God’s people have always been the ones who got the most trouble. When you tell people about Jesus you probably will get persecuted for it. To be ‘persecuted’ to means to be opposed and rejected.

But there is always an upside when it comes to Jesus. There will be glory waiting for us when this life is over, so it is worth it.

Cube Challenge:  Pray for strength to overcome the persecution that may come your way. Remember when life is over and we have overcome the suffering we all can have a party in heaven. All the stuff we go through will be insignificant compared to all the awesome things God has for us in eternity.
