Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. – Romans 12:12
We heard last night at Cube about the importance of the presence of God and how important it is to be people who are connected to God. Jesus wants us to be people who walk closely with Him. Everything we need is found in Jesus.
This may sound like a bit of an over-the-top statement, but its totally true. What we need for this life is found in Jesus. In Him, there’s strength, breakthrough, healing, peace, power, victory, wisdom, answers to family problems, solutions, guidance and direction. And the beauty of it is, the more we press into Him, the more we can know these things actively in our daily lives.
But you might say this all sounds good on paper, but you don’t know what I’m going through. How is does this look practically? Well today’s verse has the clue; be constant in prayer. Prayer is being connected to God, bringing your thoughts, your heart, your attention and your problems to God as much as possible. It’s important to be constantly connected to Christ.
CUBE CHALLENGE: throughout this coming week be intentionally about remain close and connect to Christ. Through constant relationship with Him, there is the answers, peace, restoration, victory and breakthrough we need for our situation and circumstances.
