Supernatural Peace

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.  John 14:27

Sometimes we can go through stuff, that really shakes us up.

It can be a problem in our families, loosing our jobs, relation problems with our mates or a tricky situation at school or college. When we face these tough trails we can try and look in many different situations to find peace. We can sometimes think that the answer is to ask for help from our mates, turn to relationships, socializing or clubbing, getting more money or a better job that we will somehow find peace through this tough problem we are facing.

The truth is however, that true peace can only come from our walk with Jesus, it’s only in Him can we experience a true, lasting, supernatural peace in the midst of a seemingly impossible situation. Jesus is saying in today’s verse that my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Jesus gives us peace that is different from the world’s definition of what peace looks like, His peace comes to us when we ask Him, and it’s so amazing, it goes beyond our understanding and it can keep us from fear and can keep us from allowing the tough stuff and pain we go through from totally breaking us. Come on guys, in Jesus we have access to this amazing, supernatural peace that God can give us that the world doesn’t know anything about.

Cube Challenge: Spend at least 20 minutes with Jesus today. Find a time that best suits you, either in the morning, evening (or could even be a lunch break where you are alone). Bring to Him any of the stuff you’re going through right now and when you ask Him in faith, He will give His supernatural peace, that can strengthen and guide you through a seemingly impossible situation, bringing you through it to make you stronger!
