“The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand”. – Psalm 37 v 23-24
Do you remember when you were a little kid when you’d trip and fall over? You’d probably get up bruised, hurt, cut and probably crying. The most reassuring thing though, that you might remember is how your parents would comfort you, help you up, nurse you better and clean the wound.
Well that’s the exact thing this verse is getting at. You see, throughout the Bible, God is referred to as our Father, He cares for us, watches over us and picks us up when we stumble and fall. He really does love us and wants to see the best for us. It’s good to know that when we stumble or fall, God picks us up and puts us right, He puts us back on track.
Now if you’ve felt yesterday, even today or last week that you’ve been stumbling over a few things in your faith, whether there’s been a relationship problem, issues with your family or friends, if there’s been doubts or sins that you are struggling with, God isn’t sacred of this, but rather is able to come and meet you where you’re at.
He loves you, you are His child and He wants to pick you up. Today’s verse says God won’t let you fall. Be encouraged!
Cube Challenge: Bring the things you are struggling with to God today, involve Him in your situation, He won’t let you fall, He’ll pick you up.
