Be a world changer

“Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you……….” – Matthew 4:19 (NIV)

This is amazing, radical and so, so different to how we often think. This shows us how Jesus pick’s His team. His followers weren’t picked on the basis of their performance but because of the grace of Jesus.

If you look at the team Jesus picked they were an unlikely bunch; they included, a  radical political activist, a traitor and a load of unschooled  Fishermen. Jesus called them to follow Him and then He sent them into the world to put it right side up in His power.

Do you ever feel like God can’t use you because you’re too this or too that, you fill in the blank. God can use anyone and anything for His glory, if you follow Him put Him first and give Him your whole heart, He can shape you to be a world changer!!

Cube Challenge: Look throughout the Gospels (and the book of Acts) this week at the lives of Jesus’ disciples (followers) look at how they acted, and you can be encouraged from their lives that God can use ‘ordinary’ people to change the world.
