Have you ever thought “how much does God want from me?”

Has it ever crossed your mind just how much of your life do you have to give over, do you have to surrender to God? Well the answer is made clear in today’s verse. EVERYTHING.

God wants all of our lives totally sold out for Him. Today’s verse goes on to say everything you do or say should be done to obey Jesus your Lord. Now I know what you’re thinking, this is much easier said than done. Of course as Christians we aren’t perfect and still make mistakes, but, if we are to be people who are sold-out, on-fire, ‘burning ones’ for Jesus, then it should be our aim to have a God-consciousness all the time.

What do I mean by this, well, it means that throughout the day you are conscious of the reality of God in your life. It means that you don’t ignore Him but that you keep on turning your attention to Him throughout the day. It means you keep on thinking about Him, are aware of Him and try to please Him as much as possible.

Cube Challenge: Make a conscious decision to keep on drawing close to God today. Every spare minute – keep on turning your affection and attention to Him. Don’t ignore Him, but intentionally think how you can please Him today.
